Throwing and Growing Summer Camp

The Throwing and Growing Foundation is offering a free 8 - week summer camp, available to all girls ages 8 - 18. The camp runs Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, June 1 - July 23, 2023, at Throwing and Growing Outdoor Throwing Facility located at 5107 Robin Ave.@ Lillian , Walnut Park, City of St. Louis, 63120 PROGRAMS Camp programs include physical fitness, music, and the arts. PHYSICAL FITNESS - throwing sports (shotput, discus), golf, outdoor recreation, and gardening MUSIC & ART - musical instrument instruction, fashion design and sewing, painting, dance, and more WEEKLY FIELD TRIPS (transportation is provided) - swimming - YMCA, art museum, boat house Forest Park, Griot Museum, Science Center, City Museum and more Each girl will be provided a YMCA membership.
